ABOUT THE NEW ZEALAND EDUCATION

The New Zealand university system is research-based, as it is historically based on the British higher education model. This means there are a number of similarities between the 2 systems, such as the names of qualifications, teaching methods, and the look and feel of the university campuses.

The colleges and universities in New Zealand have been recognized internationally and maintain high academic standards. All the education programs offered by colleges and universities are accredited by the government of New Zealand. As a student, you can enter into the education system during any stage. There are 8 state universities, 5 colleges, and 25 state polytechnics institutes to choose from!

Campuses are highly international, with students from all corners of the globe studying and socializing together. Students come from Europe, South East Asia, the UK, North Asia, Japan, South America, India, and Australia, amongst many others.

ABOUT THE NEW ZEALAND

New Zealand, although it is the same size as Japan or Great Britain. But, there are a lot of reasons that you should consider going there for your studies abroad. Many people will call natives of the country “Kiwis,” after the bird that only resides there and nowhere else in the entire world.

The culture on the islands is quite laid back and easy going, as well. So you’re not going to feel tense like you would if you went to a large city like London or New York City to study. There are just over 4 million people who reside in the country, and it is one of the safest places to live in the world. Another cool thing about the people is that there are so many different kinds of people. For being such a small country, the diversity is greater than you see in many European countries.

They are gladly received into New Zealand homes and student social networks. New Zealanders are well traveled, with a great interest in people from other cultures, so visitors and international students soon feel more than welcome.
